A personal helicopter flight is the best way to indulge in a Bass Valley Estate Winery tour. Your tour starts with a briefing from your very experienced pilot, then a scenic 15 minute flight to the Bass Valley Estate Winery.

Your flight will take you from Phillip Island over Westernport Bay and into the hills, with views of French Island, the Dandenongs and even Melbourne on a clear day.

Located in the extremely picturesque Bass Valley, the Bass Estate Winery is a small, family run boutique winery. You will start with a personal tour of the winery by the head winemaker. Learn about the varieties the winery is known for, including, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Riesling.

It is then time for a scrumptious ploughman's lunch, including local cheeses, home made damper and lots more tasty treats. This is all washed down with a glass of our award winning wine and finished with a fresh fruit platter.

Following this is the wine tasting component! Wine is a complex subject - it can also be mysterious, obscure, pretentious, and embarrassing. However, with help from the head winemaker you will discover the full range and flavours of our wines that have won numerous awards. The chance to purchase some stock to take home awaits you too.

After you've had your fill, you will board your helicopter again for the scenic flight home. This is truly a magnificent, once in a lifetime trip and not to be missed!

Length: This experience is 2 hours in duration. This includes approximately 15 minutes flight time each way and 1.5 hours exploring the winery. We operate 364 days a year and fly during daylight hours. Exact departure time will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Guidelines: You must be 18 years and over to take part in this experience. There is a weight limit of 110kg per person.

Numbers: The price quoted is for 2 people. There is a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 passengers aboard the helicopter.
